Research Coordinator

Michaella is a Research Coordinator with the Center for Innovate Research on Gender Health Equity (CONVERGE). She holds her master's in public health from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health. During her time at UNC, she worked as a research assistant for the Institute for Clinical Effectiveness and Health Policy (IECS) based in Argentina, where she contributed to multiple projects addressing nutritional deficiencies and inequitable health care delivery among women worldwide. Also, as a research assistant with UNC Gillings' Health Behavior department, she assisted with projects overseen by USAID's Data for Impact (D4I) Project in Bangladesh, which aims to strengthen individual and system capacities in Bangladesh. Her interests in research involve maternal and children's health and reproductive autonomy and justice. During her free time, Michaella can probably be found curled up with a good book and a strong cup of coffee!
