Student Research Assistant

Dr. Hendrickson is hiring a Research Assistant for the The Self-Care for Abortion through Reproductive justice, Doulas, and the Arts (CARES) Project is a community-engaged research project that aims to explore abortion-related self-care in Pittsburgh. 

Student Opportunities

The Pitt Public Health Undergraduate Scholars Program (PHUSP) is an eight-week residential program designed to encourage historically underserved college students to consider careers in public health. The program focuses on maternal and child health, environmental justice, and climate and health. 

The Health Sciences Diversity Research (HSDR) Scholars Program provides opportunities for individuals who have completed an undergraduate degree and are committed to a career in biomedical, health-related research. 

The Office of Science Education Outreach invites high school and undergraduate college students to discover new opportunities by working to assist on research projects. Students will explore the tasks of scientific process to gain an understanding of research. By establishing a mentor-mentee relationship, students can advance their educational goals.
